Kaskisaari is a small, atmospheric island located in northern Kallavesi. Just a short boat ride from Kuopio, yet far enough from the noise of the city to offer complete tranquility.

The new main building provides excellent meeting facilities for up to 25 people. Comfort and relaxation are ensured by a large sauna, and on the spacious terrace, a hot tub awaits bathers.

On the western side of the island, you can step straight from the pier into the waves of Kallavesi for a refreshing swim after the sauna.

The island also features a cozy traditional Finnish hut (kota).

At Kaskisaari, you can host a memorable full-day event—or conclude a cruise on Kallavesi with a unique island experience. The island is ideal for meetings, training sessions, and small private celebrations. You can also combine your island visit with a luxurious cruise. Ask us for more options.

CATERING - DINING

Grill and Dine on the Island

You may bring your own catering to the island or prepare and grill food on-site.

Island Facilities

Kaskisaari is located approximately 15 km from Kuopio. The island has two piers: one for small boats and another suitable for larger vessels over 25 meters in length. You will have access to the new main building and a large traditional hut (kota).

Additionally, on the other side of the island, there is a large (17 m²) kota with grilling facilities.

Please note that accommodation is also available on board the vessel.

Kaskisaari Opening Soon

Construction of the buildings on Kaskisaari is currently being completed, and very soon you will be able to enjoy brand-new facilities surrounded by the magnificent scenery of Kallavesi.

The main building will include a modern kitchen, a spacious communal lounge area, and a large terrace featuring a roomy outdoor hot tub next to the sauna.
